So I just read this really cool article about a 12-year-old boy who created his own TV show about smart, black kids! It really caught my attention because you don’t often see that kind of representation in the media.
Basically, this kid named Brandon Martinez had an idea to create a show that would showcase the intelligence and creativity of black kids, because he felt like they weren’t getting enough recognition for it. He wrote and produced the show himself, and it’s called “Smart Attack.”
The show follows a group of kid geniuses who solve various problems using science and technology. It’s aimed at a family audience, so it’s totally kid-friendly and educational, but also really fun and engaging.
I think it’s so cool that Brandon had the vision and drive to create something like this at such a young age. It’s a really important message to send to kids that they can make a difference and be leaders in their own communities.
Plus, it’s just really refreshing to see a show that challenges stereotypes and celebrates diversity. I wish there were more shows like this out there!
