ABC Renews 8 TV Shows, Announces 2 Hits Are Ending (& Some Fans Might Be Upset!)

As TV networks start gearing up for the next season, ABC has made some big announcements about its upcoming programming. The news that ABC is renewing eight of its current shows will be a welcome relief for fans, but the announcement that two hit shows are coming to an end is sure to disappoint some viewers.

Among the shows that ABC is renewing are dramas “Grey’s Anatomy,” “The Good Doctor,” and “Station 19.” “Black-ish,” “The Goldbergs,” “The Conners,” and “A Million Little Things” are also receiving renewals. In addition, game show “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” is coming back for a second season.

However, fans of “American Housewife” and “Mixed-ish” will be disappointed to learn that their favorite shows are ending. Both shows have been canceled after their current seasons wrap up.

This news comes as a reminder that even hit shows aren’t immune to cancelation. “American Housewife” has been around for five seasons, while “Mixed-ish” has only had two. It’s also worth noting that the cancelation may be due to factors like ratings or production costs that fans may not be aware of.

Overall, ABC’s announcements give fans of its current lineup plenty to look forward to, but also serve as a reminder that the TV landscape is constantly changing. As networks continue to make decisions about what shows to renew and what shows to cancel, fans can expect to see more surprises in the future.
