As the pandemic continues to keep us indoors, streaming services have become a lifeline for entertainment. With newer releases coming in every month, there’s always something new to watch. April is no different, and we couldn’t help but notice some exciting titles coming our way.
This month, Netflix’s Getting Scrooged promises to be a fresh take on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. But if you’re in the mood for suspense, Night in Paradise is a new Korean movie about a man who takes refuge with a woman in Jeju Island. Meanwhile, Hulu has a variety of TV shows to offer, such as The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and The Handmaid’s Tale. But if you’re looking for more teen drama and romance, The Hardy Boys will stream exclusively on Hulu.
But that’s not all. Amazon Prime Video welcomes a new horror series called Them, created by Little Marvin and produced by Lena Waithe. The show tells the story of a Black family who moves into an all-white neighborhood in the 1950s, only to discover horrifying entities that haunt their home.
Overall, this month looks like it’s going to be an exciting ride for all streaming enthusiasts. The times might seem dire, but at least we have entertainment to distract us all. So, buckle up and check out what’s streaming in April.
