So I came across this article about an avocado smoothie recipe and it got me thinking that I’ve never actually tried adding avocado to my smoothies before. Turns out, it’s actually super easy and tastes amazing!

Basically, the recipe calls for blending together 1 ripe avocado, 1 banana, 1/2 cup of almond milk, a handful of spinach, and some honey for sweetness. You can also substitute the almond milk with coconut milk or regular milk if that’s more your jam. It’s supposed to give you a creamy, nutritious and filling drink.

I’m definitely going to give this recipe a shot because I love finding ways to incorporate healthy fats and greens into my diet, especially if it means I can indulge in a little something sweet too. Plus, I’ll finally have another use for all those extra avocados that keep piling up in my fridge!

All in all, avocado smoothies seem like a great way to mix up your typical shake routine while still getting all the healthy ingredients you need.
