So I found this crazy workout article online the other day called “Blow Up Your Shoulders with This 420-Rep Single Dumbbell Workout” and I couldn’t stop laughing at the title. But after reading it, I have to say, it ’s pretty intense! Basically, the workout involves doing 10 different exercises, each with 42 reps using only one dumbbell.
First up is the “Arnold Press,” where you hold the dumbbell in front of your face, rotate it to the side, and then press it up overhead. Then there’s a bunch of other exercises like lateral raises, front raises, and bent-over rows. The whole workout is split into two sets of 210 reps, with a brief rest in between.
Now, I don’t know about you, but I don’t think I have the stamina (or the shoulder strength!) to do 420 reps in one workout. But I do think it’s interesting to see how creative people are getting with their home workouts these days.
Overall, I think the article is a fun read and definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a new challenge. Who knows, maybe the next time I hit the gym I’ll give this workout a try…or maybe I’ll just stick to my usual routine!
