So, I just read this super cool article about the Evil Dead movies! Apparently, Bruce Campbell (aka Ash) spilled the beans about a new project that Sam Raimi (the director) is working on. It’s called an “Evil Dead Bible,” and basically, it’s a master plan for a bunch of new movies that will come out every two to three years.
According to Campbell, Raimi has been putting this project together for a while now, and it contains all sorts of cool stuff like plot ideas, character backgrounds, and even potential spin-offs. They’re planning to make more big-budget Hollywood movies (like the 2013 remake), as well as lower-budget indie films that harken back to the classic Evil Dead style.
Now, I don’t know about you, but I’m a huge fan of horror movies, and the Evil Dead series has always been a favorite of mine. I remember watching Army of Darkness (the third movie) with my friends in high school and just being completely blown away by how insane and hilarious it was.
But more than just being a cult classic, I think the Evil Dead movies are important because they’re a great example of how creativity can thrive within limits. The original movie was made on a shoestring budget, but it still managed to be scary, funny, and unique. And now, almost 40 years later, they’re still making new movies and expanding the universe.
Overall, I’m really excited to see what Sam Raimi has in store for us with this Evil Dead Bible project. I think it’s great that they’re planning to release new movies regularly, and I can’t wait to see what crazy new ideas they come up with. So, if you’re a horror fan like me, or just love a good supernatural romp, keep an eye out for these new Evil Dead movies!
