Build It Yourself - The Wireless Cubicle Doorbell: A DIY Solution to Workplace Personal Space

So, I read this cool article about a guy who built a wireless cubicle doorbell. Apparently, he was tired of people barging into his workspace without warning, and he wanted a way to signal to his coworkers that he needed some privacy. I can relate to that. I work in an open office and sometimes I just need a little peace and quiet to focus.

Anyway, the article goes into detail about how he built the doorbell using some basic electronic components and a 3D printer. It’s pretty cool, actually. He even wrote some code to customize the ringtone. I’m not that handy, but I admire people who can build things from scratch like that.

I think what’s really interesting about this project is that it’s a DIY solution to a common workplace problem. We’ve all been in situations where we need some alone time, but we don’t have a way to communicate that without being rude or disruptive. A cubicle doorbell could be a simple and effective way to signal to others that you need some space.

Overall, I thought the article was informative and entertaining. It’s always inspiring to read about people who take matters into their own hands and find creative solutions to everyday problems. Plus, I learned a thing or two about electronics and coding, which is always a plus.
