Chicken Gyoza Recipe - Japanese Cooking 101

So I came across this article online about making chicken gyoza, which is apparently a traditional Japanese dish that’s usually served as an appetizer or snack.

Basically, you start off by making the filling, which consists of ground chicken, cabbage, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and some other spices. Once you’ve mixed everything together, you spoon a bit of the filling onto a gyoza wrapper and then fold it up into a little dumpling shape.

Then comes the fun part - cooking them! You heat up some oil in a pan and put the gyoza in, and you cook them until they’re crispy and golden on the bottom. Then you add some water to the pan and put the lid on, which steams them and makes them all soft and juicy on the inside.

Personally, I love making dumplings of all kinds, so I’m definitely gonna try making these chicken gyoza soon. Plus, they sound like they’d be a great party food or snack for when you’re having people over.

Overall, I think this article does a good job of breaking down the recipe and providing step-by-step instructions, so even if you’re not a seasoned chef, you could still give it a shot. Plus, trying out new recipes and cuisines is always a fun way to expand your taste buds and cooking skills.
