Chris Evans is back to the big screen, but this time he will be taking a step back from his usual role as the hero. The actor is set to star in the upcoming movie “Ghosted” and has recently opened up about his character in an interview with Collider. Evans plays the role of a man who is saved by a woman and begins to fall for her. While this may seem like an unusual role for an actor who is used to playing the hero, Evans expressed that he really enjoyed playing a character who is vulnerable and in need of saving.

Evans shared that he liked being on the sidelines and not being the one leading the charge for once. He said that it was a refreshing change to be dependent on someone else’s decisions and admire their strength. “Ghosted” is a romantic action thriller directed by Dexter Fletcher, and Evans stars alongside fellow Marvel alumna, Scarlett Johansson.

Evans’ role in “Ghosted” is not his first time playing a character who is not the main hero. In 2019, he played a different kind of villain in “Knives Out”, showcasing his versatility as an actor. As an audience, we are always looking for actors to push their limits and take risks, and Evans seems to be doing just that with this latest role.

The fact that an actor as popular as Chris Evans is taking a break from his usual heroic roles and playing someone different is definitely something noteworthy. It shows that there’s a level of unpredictability in Hollywood and that actors continue to evolve in their craft. It also means we can expect a fresh and exciting experience from “Ghosted.”
