So, I read this really cool article about the Elitch Theatre in Denver. Apparently, it’s a historic place that’s been around for a long time, and it’s going to start playing movies again this summer!
The theatre was built back in 1890 and has hosted all sorts of performances and events over the years. It’s seen some ups and downs, but it’s still standing strong. And now, thanks to a grant from the Colorado Office of Film, Television, and Media, the Elitch Theatre will be showing movies under the stars once again.
I actually went to the Elitch Theatre a few years ago for a play, and it was such a cool experience. The place has so much history and character, and it’s amazing to see it still being used after all these years.
I think it’s really important to preserve these historic landmarks and keep their stories alive. Plus, who doesn’t love a good outdoor movie night? I’m definitely planning on checking out one of the screenings this summer.
