Disney World to host Out & Equal event in support of LGBTQ+ rights in the workplace

I read a really interesting article about how Disney World is going to host an Out & Equal event that supports LGBTQ+ rights in the workplace! Basically, this event is going to bring together all kinds of people from different companies to talk about how to create more inclusive work environments.

It’s so cool to see a place like Disney World taking a stand for LGBTQ+ rights. They’re such a huge company, and it’s important for big corporations to use their platform to support marginalized communities. Plus, as someone who’s been to Disney World a few times, I know how important employee morale is over there. It’s great to see them investing in their workers and making sure everyone feels welcome and supported at their job.

The article doesn’t mention specific details about the event, but it’s happening in 2022 and there will be a whole bunch of different companies getting involved. I’m guessing there will be some really valuable conversations and workshops happening.

Overall, I think this event is a really important step towards creating more inclusive workplaces. It’s easy to forget about the struggles that LGBTQ+ people face in the workplace, especially if they aren’t visibly out or have to hide a big part of themselves. But events like this remind us that there’s still so much work to be done. I’m excited to see what comes out of this!
