Electric Vehicle Infrastructure: USPS Should Plan for Potential Workplace Charging

So, I just read this article about workplace charging for electric vehicles and it was pretty interesting. Basically, the United States Postal Service (USPS) is being urged to consider adding charging stations to their parking lots so that employees with electric vehicles can conveniently charge during their workday.

The article explains that the USPS has one of the largest fleets in the country, and as more employees switch to electric vehicles, it would be beneficial for the agency to provide charging infrastructure. The article also mentions how workplace charging can help reduce range anxiety, which is a common concern among EV owners.

I actually have a friend who works for a company that installed workplace charging stations and he loves it. He said it makes his life so much easier since he lives in an apartment without access to a private charger.

I think it’s important for companies to start considering the needs of EV drivers, especially as more people make the switch to electric vehicles. Plus, if the USPS were to add workplace charging, it would set a great example for other large fleets and companies to follow suit.

Overall, I found this article to be informative and important as we continue the transition to a more sustainable future.
