HBO Planning Targaryen Conquest Prequel TV Series + Movie (Aegon's Conquest, Game of Thrones)

So, get this. HBO just announced that they’re planning to create a prequel TV series and movie for Game of Thrones called Aegon’s Conquest, which will take us back to the Targaryen conquest. As a huge GOT fan, I’m pretty excited about this news.

Basically, it will show us how the Seven Kingdoms were united under Targaryen rule after Aegon Targaryen invaded and conquered Westeros with his dragons. It will also explore the relationships between the different Targaryen family members and their political struggles, which sounds like it’ll be just as juicy and dramatic as the original show.

As someone who’s read the books and watched all of the episodes of both the series and the documentary “Game of Thrones: The Last Watch,” I can tell you that there’s so much backstory and history that’s never been fully explored in the series. Plus, seeing dragons on the screen again will be a real treat.

Overall, I think that Aegon’s Conquest will allow us to dive deeper into the world of Game of Thrones and gain a better understanding of its lore and mythology. And if it’s anything like the original show, I’m sure it will be worth the watch. Can’t wait to see it!
