Here’s one way to get rid of black bars in ultra-wide movies: use a projector

I just read this really cool article about how to get rid of those annoying black bars in ultra-wide movies using a projector! Basically, instead of watching your favorite flick on a traditional widescreen TV, you can use a projector that’s specifically designed for ultra-wide viewing. My buddy Dan recently got one of these bad boys, and I have to say, I was pretty impressed.

According to the article, the reason projectors are great for ultra-wide movies is because they have a much larger aspect ratio than most TVs, which means you can get a much wider image without any black bars. They also tend to be cheaper than most ultra-wide TVs, and you can easily adjust the size of the image depending on the space you have available.

One thing to keep in mind, however, is that not all projectors are created equal. If you’re serious about getting one for ultra-wide movies, you’ll want to look for a model with a high native resolution (at least 1080p), plenty of brightness, and good color accuracy. You might also want to invest in a good sound system to make sure you’re getting the full movie-going experience.

Overall, I think this is a really interesting approach to solving the black bar problem, and it’s definitely something to consider if you’re a big fan of ultra-wide movies. Plus, who doesn’t love a good movie night with friends? With a projector, you can take the experience to a whole new level.
