So, I read this article titled 大屠杀,hulu北京员工被一锅端 and honestly, it was pretty intense. The article talked about how a bunch of Hulu employees in Beijing were fired all at once, and it sounds like it was pretty harsh.
From what I could gather, the main reason for the firings was due to the employees wanting to unionize. Apparently, they weren’t happy with how things were being run and they wanted to band together to try and make some changes. Unfortunately, their efforts were met with some serious opposition from Hulu’s management, and they ended up getting the axe.
As someone who has worked for several different companies, I can definitely sympathize with the employees who wanted to unionize. I’ve experienced some pretty crappy treatment from bosses in the past, and it can be really frustrating when you feel like there’s nothing you can do about it.
In the end, though, I think this article really highlights the importance of standing up for what you believe in. It might not always work out in your favor, but at least you’re fighting for something that matters. And who knows? Maybe the next group of employees who try to unionize will have better luck.
