So, I read this wild article about Lewis Capaldi and his Netflix documentary, and I gotta say, it really struck a chord with me. Basically, the guy says that after watching footage of himself in the doc, he had a panic attack and started spiraling, convinced that his Tourette’s and anxiety were completely controlling his life.
It’s crazy to think about how much pressure famous people must be under to maintain their public personas, especially when they have conditions that affect their behavior. It’s like they’re constantly walking a tightrope, never sure if they’re going to slip up and fall.
I mean, I know I’ve had moments where I’ve felt like my anxiety was overwhelming me, but I can’t imagine how it must feel to have cameras in your face all the time, documenting your every move. It’s no wonder Lewis was freaking out.
But on a lighter note, I have to admit that I kind of love the fact that a Scottish guy like Lewis Capaldi can be a huge pop star these days. It’s like he’s breaking all the rules of what a pop star is supposed to look or sound like, and people are totally into it. Plus, his songs are just so darn catchy.
Anyway, back to the point. The takeaway here is that mental health issues are no joke, and even celebrities can struggle with them. It’s important to take care of yourself and not let your conditions define you. And also, Lewis Capaldi is a pretty cool guy.
