So, I just read this really cool article about an artist whose work is popping up in some unexpected places. Like, apparently, you can see her stuff on celebrities AND pickleball courts! Who knew that was even a thing?
From what I gathered, this artist - her name is Liza Hathaway Matthews - has been getting some big-time attention lately for her bright and bold abstract paintings. They’re kind of like explosions of color, and she’s been commissioned to create custom pieces for a bunch of celebs, including one of the Real Housewives. And I guess pickleball is this really popular sport that’s kind of like a mix between tennis and ping pong? Anyway, people have been hiring her to paint the courts and it looks pretty amazing.
I actually have a friend who’s way into pickleball, so I’m definitely going to have to tell him about this. He’ll probably get a real kick out of it! But seriously, I think it’s pretty impressive that Liza is able to take her art and make it accessible to such a wide range of people. And I’m sure there are plenty of others out there who will appreciate it, too.
All in all, this article really caught my attention and has me thinking about the creative ways that people are using art these days. It just goes to show that there are so many possibilities out there when it comes to expressing yourself. And who knows, maybe one day I’ll create something that winds up on a pickleball court or a celebrity’s wall!
