Move Over Harry Potter, Twilight Is Also Getting a TV Series - IGN

It looks like Twilight may soon follow in the footsteps of Harry Potter and make its way to the small screen. According to IGN, Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer announced during a quarterly earnings call that the studio is actively developing a television series based on the popular young adult book and movie franchise. Although specific details about the potential series are still scant, Feltheimer did mention that Lionsgate is currently in talks with both Kristen Stewart, who played the female lead, Bella Swan, and Robert Pattinson, who portrayed vampire heartthrob Edward Cullen, about potential involvement in the project. Fans of the franchise will undoubtedly be thrilled to hear that there may be more Twilight content coming their way, though it remains to be seen which direction the series will take and whether or not it will feature any of the characters from the books or films.
