Netflix is making a Stranger Things animated series

So, I just read this article about how Netflix is creating an animated series based on Stranger Things. It’s pretty cool because they’re partnering with a big-time animation studio, so it’s sure to be high-quality.

Basically, it’s a “spin-off” from the main show, meaning it takes place within the same universe but is a separate story. It takes place far away from Hawkins, Indiana, where the original show is set, and follows a group of teenagers who uncover a sinister conspiracy in their town.

What I found interesting is that the Duffer brothers, who created Stranger Things, are heavily involved in the project. They’re writing the entire series, which means we can expect some really tight, cohesive storytelling.

I have to admit, I’m not the biggest fan of animation. But since I’m such a big fan of Stranger Things, I’m definitely going to give this a shot. Who knows, it might change my mind about the whole genre.

Overall, I think this is a smart move on Netflix’s part. They know that Stranger Things has a massive following, and they’re capitalizing on it by expanding the universe in new and exciting ways. Plus, animation is a really versatile medium, so they can do things they wouldn’t be able to do in live-action.

I’m really excited to see where this goes, and I think it’s a great example of how a good franchise can grow and evolve over time.
