So, I just read this article about how Netflix is keeping us “Love Is Blind” fans waiting for a live reunion, and I’m feeling all sorts of emotions right now. On the one hand, I’m dying to know what’s going to happen between all those couples we got invested in. Did Jessica ever come clean about Mark? Are Lauren and Cameron still going strong? But on the other hand, I can understand why they might want to drag this out a little bit. After all, the show was a huge hit, and they probably want to milk that hype for as long as possible.
Anyway, the article explains that although the reunion was originally scheduled to air shortly after the finale, it’s now been postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Apparently, the plan was to bring all the contestants together in a studio for a live event, but obviously that’s not possible at the moment. So now we’re all just left hanging, wondering what’s going on with our favorite couples.
Honestly, I’m a little disappointed by this news, but I can’t say I’m surprised. With everything going on in the world right now, I guess a reality TV show reunion is pretty low on the list of priorities. Still, I’m hoping they can figure out a way to make it happen soon, because I need closure dang it!
In conclusion, if you’re a fan of “Love Is Blind,” you’re probably feeling the same mix of anticipation and frustration that I am right now. It’s a bummer that the reunion is on hold, but hopefully they’ll find a way to make it happen soon. And if you haven’t watched the show yet, well, what are you waiting for? It’s the perfect quarantine binge-watch!
