Netflix Lands Adam McKay, Robert Pattinson Serial Killer Comedy

I just read an article about Netflix landing a new serial killer comedy with Adam McKay and Robert Pattinson attached! Yes, you read that right, a comedy about serial killers - only in America, am I right?

Apparently, the show is called “The Upper World” and is based on a book of the same name. It will star Pattinson as a wealthy businessman who moonlights as a serial killer, and will be directed by McKay, who is known for his work on “The Big Short” and “Anchorman.”

I mean, I love a good true crime podcast as much as the next person, but the idea of actually laughing while watching a show about serial killers is kinda wild to me. But with this kind of talent involved, I’m definitely intrigued.

According to the article, the show will explore themes of privilege, power, and corruption. I think that’s an interesting lens to view a story about a serial killer through, and I’m curious to see how they’ll tackle it.

Overall, it sounds like “The Upper World” is shaping up to be a weird, dark, and entertaining ride. I’m definitely going to keep an eye out for it when it drops on Netflix.
