NJ man kidnaps, rapes girl walking home from movies, cops say

A 28-year-old man from Trenton, NJ has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping and raping a 16-year-old girl who was walking home from the movies last weekend. According to police, the man offered the girl a ride home but instead drove her to a secluded area where he sexually assaulted her. The victim was eventually able to escape and call the police, who quickly apprehended the suspect.

This disturbing incident highlights the very real danger that women and girls continue to face while simply trying to live their daily lives. It’s shocking that even in 2021, there are still people out there willing to commit such heinous acts. As a society, we must continue to work towards creating a culture where violence against women is not tolerated, and where we all feel safe and protected no matter where we are or what we’re doing. It’s important to speak out about incidents like this and demand justice for victims, so that perpetrators understand that their actions will not go unpunished.
