NZ Work-Family Life Balance Works For Warren

So, I just read this article about how NZ work-family life balance works wonders for this dude named Warren. Basically, the guy works for a company called Perpetual Guardian and he only does a four-day workweek. And get this, he’s still paid for the usual five days! Sounds like a sweet deal, right?

According to the article, the company implemented this four-day workweek for their 240 employees in March 2018, and it’s been a massive success. Not only do their employees have one more day to do all the things they love, but they’re also more productive because they’re not overworked and stressed out.

And you know what’s even more mind-blowing? The company reported a 20% increase in employee productivity, and a 27% decrease in work-related stress levels. That’s enough to make any boss switch to a four-day workweek, right?

As someone who has had to juggle work and family life, I think this is a game-changer. I mean, who wouldn’t want to have more time to spend with their loved ones or doing things they’re passionate about?

The only downside is that not every company might be open to the idea of a four-day workweek. But hey, it’s a step in the right direction towards achieving a better work-life balance. And let’s be honest, we could all use a little more balance in our lives.

So, if you’re feeling overworked and underpaid, maybe it’s time to talk to your boss about a four-day workweek. Who knows, it might just work wonders for your productivity and happiness!
