Yo, I just read this crazy article about Robert De Niro becoming a dad again at 79! Apparently, he just welcomed his seventh baby?! Can you even imagine having that much energy at that age?
Anyway, according to the article, De Niro and his wife Grace Hightower had a baby via surrogate. I guess it’s not that uncommon these days for people to have kids later in life, but still, 79 is pushing it.
I personally don’t have any experience with having kids at any age, let alone when you’re pushing 80, but I can only imagine the challenges that come with it. It’s gotta be tough to keep up with a newborn when you’re already a grandparent seven times over.
But in all seriousness, I think this article highlights the fact that there’s no one right way to live your life. Some people might say that having kids when you’re that old is irresponsible or selfish, but I think as long as you’re able to give your child the love and attention they need, age shouldn’t really matter.
At the end of the day, I think we should celebrate the fact that De Niro and Hightower are expanding their family, regardless of their age. It just goes to show that life is full of surprises and you never know what’s going to happen next.
