S:91 EP:8 || Is it ok to cry on Movies and TV Shows???

So, I just read this really interesting article called S:91 EP:8 || Is it ok to cry on Movies and TV Shows??? And you know what, I think it’s totally okay! I mean, who hasn’t shed a tear during a heartfelt scene in a movie or TV show?

Basically, the article explores the idea of “crying shame” and how some people feel embarrassed or ashamed for crying while watching a movie or TV show. However, the article argues that crying during movies and TV shows is perfectly normal and even healthy!

The author makes a great point that crying is a natural way to release emotions and watching emotional scenes in movies and TV shows can help us process our own emotions. Plus, it’s a sign of empathy and emotional intelligence, which are important qualities to have.

I totally agree with the author. In fact, I remember watching The Lion King as a kid and crying when Mufasa died (sorry for the spoiler, but if you haven’t seen that movie by now, where have you been?). My mom comforted me and explained that it’s okay to cry and that it’s a sign of how much we care about the characters and the story.

Overall, I think this is an important topic because it reminds us that it’s okay to be vulnerable and to express our emotions. So, next time you feel the tears coming on during a movie or TV show, don’t be ashamed! Let those emotions out and enjoy the cathartic experience.
