SUZANNE DOWNING: Biden’s Wacky Student Loan Plan Is An Insult To Common Sense

So I came across this article about Joe Biden’s plan for student loans and let me tell you, it is a doozy. According to Suzanne Downing, a writer for Must Read Alaska, Biden’s plan is nothing short of wacky and downright insulting to common sense.

Basically, Biden’s plan is to forgive $10,000 in student loan debt per borrower, regardless of their income or financial situation. Now, while this might sound like a good idea on the surface, it completely disregards the fact that many people who took out loans are able to pay them back and haven’t suffered any financial hardship.

As Downing points out, this plan is essentially punishing responsible loan borrowers while letting those who made poor financial decisions off scot-free. Not to mention, it would come at a hefty cost to taxpayers and potentially harm the economy in the long run.

Now, personally, I know a few people who have struggled with their student loans and would greatly benefit from some sort of relief. But at the same time, I also know plenty of people who have paid off their loans without any issues and aren’t in favor of bailing out others who didn’t make smart financial choices.

Overall, I think it’s important for politicians to take a closer look at the student loan crisis and come up with a solution that doesn’t just throw money at the problem. While Biden’s plan might seem appealing to some, it ultimately doesn’t address the root of the issue and could do more harm than good in the long run.
