Yo, did you hear about the awesome news that just dropped at Star Wars Celebration? Apparently, they announced not one, not two, but THREE new Star Wars movies that are in the works!
From what I gathered, the first movie is going to be directed by Patty Jenkins, who you might know from Wonder Woman. It’s called Rogue Squadron, and it focuses on a group of starfighter pilots doing some crazy action-packed missions.
The second movie is going to be directed by Taika Waititi, who directed Jojo Rabbit and Thor: Ragnarok. He’s also going to be co-writing the script with Krysty Wilson-Cairns, who helped write 1917. Not much has been revealed about this movie yet, but it’s said to be a standalone flick that’s going to explore a new and never-before-seen part of the Star Wars universe.
And last but definitely not least, we’re getting a new Star Wars movie from J.D. Dillard and Matt Owens. They’re currently working on the script, so we don’t know much about what this movie is going to be about. But considering that they’re both known for their work on sci-fi and superhero projects, it’s safe to say that it’s going to be epic.
As a huge Star Wars fan, I’m beyond excited for these new movies. It’s been a hot minute since we’ve gotten some new stuff on the big screen, and I can’t wait to see what kind of stories and characters these talented directors and writers are going to bring to the table.
So yeah, mark your calendars and get ready for some epic space battles and force-wielding action. Star Wars is back, baby!
