So I just read this hilarious article called Trying TikTok Life Hacks to see if they work, and it had me laughing out loud. Basically, this person tried out a bunch of viral hacks they found on TikTok to see if they were actually useful or just a waste of time.
From fixing a broken phone screen with toothpaste (spoiler: it didn’t work) to creating perfect winged eyeliner with a fork (surprisingly effective), they put a bunch of these TikTok tips to the test. It was funny to see which ones worked and which ones totally failed.
But what I found most interesting was how these TikTok life hacks can spread so quickly and easily. One person tries it, posts about it, and suddenly it’s everywhere. It’s a testament to how influential social media can be, even when it comes to the most trivial things.
Personally, I’ve never been much of a TikTok user, but after reading this article, I might just have to check it out for some of these life hack videos. Who knows, maybe I’ll discover a useful tip or two.
Overall, I think this article is a reminder of how important it is to question what we see on social media and do our own research. Just because something is popular doesn’t mean it’s always accurate or effective. But hey, at least we can have a good laugh in the process of debunking some of these trends.
