What career advice would you give to your younger self?

So, I just read this article titled “What career advice would you give to your younger self?” and it really got me thinking. To summarize, the article talks about how the best advice you can give to your younger self is to focus on your passions and not just your wallet.

The main point is that too often we are told to pick a career based on its potential financial rewards, and not on what we actually enjoy doing. But in the long run, pursuing your passions is more fulfilling and can lead to a more successful career.

The article also touches on the importance of taking risks and not being afraid to fail. It’s natural to be scared of failure, but it’s important to remember that failure is a natural part of the learning process. In fact, some of the most successful people in the world have failed countless times before finally achieving success.

Personally, I couldn’t agree more with this advice. When I was younger, I was told that I should pursue a career in law because it was prestigious and financially rewarding. But deep down, I always knew that my true passion was writing. After years of working as a lawyer, I finally took the plunge and pursued my passion for writing. It was scary at first, but it’s been the best decision I ever made.

Overall, I think this article is a great reminder to follow your heart and pursue what makes you truly happy, even if it means taking risks and potentially failing along the way. In the end, it’s worth it to be able to look back on your life and know that you’ve lived it on your own terms.
