Workplace ministries launch 24th annual Joy At Work Week on April 2-9

So I came across this article about the Workplace ministries launching their annual Joy at Work Week on April 2nd to 9th, and it definitely caught my attention, especially during these times where most people are working remotely.

Basically, the Joy at Work Week is all about creating a positive, uplifting atmosphere in the workplace, which can increase productivity and boost morale. There are a ton of different activities and events that take place during the week, such as team-building exercises, volunteer work, and even happy hours.

What I really liked about this article, though, were the personal anecdotes from people who have participated in past Joy at Work Weeks. One woman talked about how her team did a scavenger hunt around the office, which ended in a surprise lunch for everyone. Another person mentioned how they did a team-building activity where they built a mini-garden together.

It just goes to show that even small gestures can really make a big difference in the workplace. And with so many people working from home right now, it’s especially important to find ways to stay connected and maintain that sense of camaraderie with our colleagues.

Overall, I think the Workplace ministries’ Joy at Work Week is definitely worth checking out, whether you’re an employer or employee. We all want to feel happy and appreciated at work, and this is a great way to make that happen.
