So, I just read this article about Zachariah Smith who’s competing on American Idol and made it to Hollywood Week! I was really impressed by his story. Basically, he’s been singing his whole life but never really had the confidence to pursue it seriously. However, after getting encouragement from his wife, he decided to give it a shot and audition for the show.
Well, as luck would have it, he totally killed it in the initial rounds and now he’s made it to Hollywood Week! I think it’s so cool that he’s finally found the confidence to follow his dreams, and it’s great to see someone who’s clearly so talented getting a chance to showcase their skills on a national platform.
I’ve never personally auditioned for anything like American Idol, but I do remember the first time I had to get up in front of a group of people and perform. It was nerve-wracking, but ultimately really rewarding. I imagine that Zachariah is feeling the same way right now.
Anyway, I think it’s really important to support people who are following their dreams and taking risks like this. Even if you’re not a huge fan of American Idol or reality TV in general, it’s still really inspiring to see someone stepping out of their comfort zone and pursuing what they love. So, cheers to Zachariah and good luck to him on the rest of the competition!
