11 people, 6 dogs displaced after Phoenix house fire

Have you ever imagined losing everything in a fire? It can be a devastating experience. Unfortunately, 11 people and 6 dogs were displaced due to a house fire in Phoenix.

According to the Phoenix Fire Department, it took more than two dozen firefighters to put out the flames on the house located near 36th Street and Thomas Road. The cause of the fire is still unknown, but thankfully no one was injured.

The Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents by providing them with temporary lodging and emotional support. It is amazing to see how organizations like the Red Cross can come together and help those who need it most.

While we may not be able to avoid accidents like house fires, we can certainly take steps to prevent them. Be mindful of electrical appliances and faulty wiring. Make sure you have working smoke alarms and fire extinguishers in your home, and practice fire safety with your loved ones.

It is important to be prepared for the unexpected. We never know when disaster will strike, but we can strive to prevent it and be ready to respond to it. Let us all work together to keep our families and communities safe.
