Ana de Armas stars in "SNL" dog school commercial

Ana de Armas, a Cuban-Spanish actress, made a hilarious appearance in a dog school commercial on the recent episode of “Saturday Night Live”. The sketch started as a typical pet training commercial, but quickly pivoted to a parody of crime dramas, with de Armas playing the straight-faced hero. She and the cast trained dogs to be police dogs with unnecessary aggression against innocent civilians, which made the instructional video hilarious.

The commercial, which parodied traditional dog training videos, featured Ana de Armas as a no-nonsense dog trainer, giving orders that were horrifyingly absurd. She demonstrated how to train dogs to discreetly alert drug dealers of police presence and how to attack anyone who dared to come too close. Alongside the other cast members, they trained “Fido” in a variety of militaristic actions, including house raids and hostage negotiations.

Though the sketch was humorous and playful, Ana de Armas brought serious acting chops to her role, emphasizing the absurdity of the canine acting. With her dramatic expressions and deadly serious demeanor, she stole the scene and made it difficult not to laugh. The sketch wrapped up with the tagline, “Doggy School: Training dogs to be better, but not all that much.”

The commercial was a perfect satire piece that showcased Ana de Armas’s tremendous acting prowess. It demonstrated how she could entertain the audience with ease, making people laugh while also providing quality acting. SNL has always had an excellent reputation for its sketches, and this commercial proved once again that they can come up with hilarious and unique ideas. The show has always remained relevant and has become an essential piece of pop culture for many people. Ana de Armas’s appearance in “SNL” was no exception, and it was a delight to watch her perform.
