Boy, 7, catches, adopts dog loose in Michigan town for months

So, I just read this article about a 7-year-old boy in Michigan who caught and adopted a dog that had been wandering around town for months. I thought it was such a heartwarming story that I had to share it with you!

Basically, this dog had been spotted by a lot of people in town, but no one had been able to catch him. That is, until this little boy, Connor, decided to give it a shot. He set up a trap in his backyard, and sure enough, the dog wandered in and got caught. Connor was so excited to finally have a new pet!

After taking the dog to the vet and getting him checked out, Connor’s family decided to keep him. They named him “Skip” and he’s been fitting right in ever since. In fact, Connor says that they’re already best friends and that he plans to take good care of him.
