So, I read this crazy article about a customer who got attacked by a dog at a Home Depot in Colorado. Basically, the owner of the dog fled the store after the attack, leaving the poor victim to fend for themselves.
From what I gathered, the victim ended up being taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. But what really struck me was how cowardly the owner of the dog was for just taking off like that. I mean, if you’re going to bring your dog into a public place like Home Depot, you better damn well make sure it’s well-behaved and won’t hurt anyone.
I actually had a similar experience once at a coffee shop where a woman had her dog off-leash and it came charging at me out of nowhere. Luckily, the dog was friendly and just wanted to say hello, but still, it’s scary when you don’t know what a strange dog’s intentions are.
So yeah, the takeaway from all of this is that it’s important to be responsible pet owners and make sure our furry friends aren’t causing harm to others. And if you witness something like this happening in public, don’t be afraid to speak up and hold the owner accountable. No one deserves to get attacked by a dog while minding their own business in a Home Depot.
