Detroit event hopes get 30 shelter dogs adopted in 3 hours this Sunday

Yo dude, I just read this wicked article about how a Detroit event is hoping to get 30 shelter dogs adopted in just 3 hours this Sunday. It’s pretty sweet!

Basically, there’s this event called the “Dog Days of Summer” where people can come and hang out with a bunch of shelter dogs and hopefully adopt one to take home. It’s all going down at a local brewery, so you can grab a cold one while you’re at it too.

I think this is such a great idea because there are so many dogs in shelters that need a loving home, and events like these can really make a difference. Plus, who doesn’t love dogs?

I actually have a friend who adopted a dog from a shelter a few years ago, and I swear that little pupper changed her whole life. It’s amazing how much of a difference having a pet can make.

Overall, I think it’s awesome that this event is taking place and I hope they reach their goal of getting those 30 dogs adopted. If you’re in the Detroit area, you should definitely check it out and maybe even find your new best friend.
