Dog missing from Georgia since 2017 found in Wayne County

So, the craziest thing happened! I stumbled across an article about a dog who had been missing from Georgia since 2017, but was recently found in Wayne County. How wild is that?

Basically, this dog, named Cedar, went missing from his owner’s backyard in Atlanta four years ago. His owner searched high and low for him, but Cedar was nowhere to be found. Fast forward to earlier this month, and a man in Wayne County found a stray dog wandering around his property. He took the pupper to a vet for a checkup, where they scanned his microchip and discovered he was Cedar!

The vet called Cedar’s owner, who drove five hours from Atlanta to pick him up. Can you imagine how emotional and happy that reunion must have been? I’m tearing up just thinking about it!

This story really stood out to me because it’s a reminder of how important microchipping your pets can be. If Cedar hadn’t been chipped, his owner may have never found him. Plus, it’s a happy ending to what was probably a really stressful situation for Cedar’s owner. It’s nice to see some good news for a change.

Overall, this article is a great reminder that no matter how hopeless a situation may seem, there’s always a chance of a happy ending. And if you have a pet, make sure to chip them!
