Most people prefer to snuggle with a pet instead of their partner: poll

So, I read this article that says most people would rather snuggle with their pet than their significant other. Can you believe that?! I personally love cuddling up with my cat, but I don’t know if I’d choose her over my hubby.

Anyway, the poll they conducted found that 61% of pet owners prefer snuggling with their furry friend, while only 49% prefer snuggling with their partner. And get this, some people even admitted to pretending to be asleep just so their partner wouldn’t try to cuddle with them!

But before you start feeling too bad for all the lonely humans out there, the article also mentions that snuggling with a pet can actually have some health benefits. For example, it can lower blood pressure and reduce anxiety. Plus, pets are always happy to snuggle no matter what, whereas human partners may not always be in the mood.

All in all, I found this article pretty interesting. It’s crazy to think how much people love their pets, but at the same time, it makes sense. I mean, who wouldn’t want to cuddle up with a cute little dog or cat after a long day at work? And if it has health benefits, even better!
