Pasadena Humane rescues dog hit by truck, amputates his leg; org raising funds to help other injured animals

So I stumbled across this article about a dog named Woody who was hit by a truck and had to have his leg amputated. Thankfully, the Pasadena Humane Society swooped in to rescue the poor guy and now they’re raising funds to help other injured animals.

Basically, Woody’s owners couldn’t afford to give him the medical care he needed, so they surrendered him to the shelter. Woody’s injury was so severe that the only option was to amputate his leg, but the staff at the shelter didn’t give up on him. They found him a loving home and even set up a fundraiser so they can help more animals like him.

Honestly, this article tugged on my heartstrings. I’ve always had a soft spot for animals and it’s amazing to see how much of a difference the Pasadena Humane Society is making in their lives. Plus, it’s a great reminder to be responsible pet owners and make sure we’re able to give our furry friends the care they need.
