So, I just read this crazy article about a pastry chef in Portland who got attacked by a dog. Apparently, she was biking to work and a pit bull just came out of nowhere and jumped on her. She ended up with some pretty serious injuries, including a broken arm and a bunch of bites all over her body.
The worst part is that this isn’t even the first time something like this has happened in Portland. There have been a bunch of dog attacks in the city lately, and it’s really starting to become a problem. I mean, I love dogs as much as the next person, but it’s scary to think that you could be walking down the street and some random dog could just attack you for no reason.
It’s really important for people to start being more responsible with their pets. If you have a dog, you need to make sure that it’s properly trained and on a leash at all times. And if your dog does end up attacking someone, you’re liable for it. So, it’s in everyone’s best interest to take this seriously and do their part to prevent it from happening.
Anyway, I hope that pastry chef recovers quickly and that people start taking this issue more seriously. It’s not a joke - dog attacks can be really dangerous and traumatic for the victim. Let’s all do our part to keep our communities safe.
